The Reverend Canon Paul C. Donecker grew up in suburban Philadelphia, and graduated from Bucknell in 1970. After serving in the Peace Corps in Cameroun, West Africa, he attended Virginia Theological Seminary in Alexandria, Virginia.
He then served at Walter Reed Army Medical Center, Washington, D.C. as Chaplain, then Christ Church, Stratford, Conn as Curate, followed by St. Andrew's Lewisburg as Rector, then the Diocese of Central Pa. as Archdeacon, and Trinity Memorial Church, Binghamton, N.Y. as Interim.
Paul and his wife Leigh, who is the Quality Assessment Manager at Evangelical Community Hospital, Lewisburg, reside in Lewisburg. Their family consists of two children, John H. Donecker and his wife, Doe, of Greensburg Pa. and Ashley D. Rhodes and her husband, Gregory of Fanwook N.J. Three grandchildren,Noah J. Rhokes, Haidyn L. Rhodes and Ainsley G. Donecker.
